The IBFMC is a venue where Black filmmakers and theatrical professionals can expand and broaden their craft. The event will consist of programs and promotions that focus on the history of Black film, theatre and the spirit of independence. Attendees will receive insight from local and national professionals, government influences, education, and corporate relationships. The IBFMC will offer a series of film screenings, theatrical performances, workshops, expert panels and networking events so that attendees will have a full range of understanding within the industry. The IBFMC mission is to serve as
a platform for emerging and established Black filmmakers, artists,
and industry professionals, which are seeking opportunities to excel
in their craft. The two-day event will be comprised of diverse
talent and resources to help inspire and educate individuals in
the entertainment genres.
